Backstory:
Michiru is known for her elegance and grace. However, behind that seemingly unfazable perfect smile, there is a playful side that comes out to those who know her best.
Michiru grew up in Japan and became world famous as both a child violin prodigy and painter. When she was 18, she and her family moved to California where, she met Tenou Haruka. Haruka encouraged her to actualize her dream of teaching. With Haruka's help, Michiru opened a school for the arts, which she has left in the care of her younger sister.
This is Michiru's first year teaching at St. Catherine's. Her goal as an art professor is to help students understand the beauty that is all around them – in the world, in their school and in their very selves.
The art studio is open to all students and staff all day, every day.
*Note: Michiru did not return for the 2006-2007 school year, separating with Haruka and returning to her art school in California.
